This will get you to 3.78Ghz which any i7 950 on the sabertooth should have NO problem handling.

Boot into the bios by pressing the del key as the computer boots up. Change only what I tell you and leave everything else alone -

Under AI Tweaker-

AI Overclock - change to manual.
CPU Ratio Setting - change to 21.
Intel speedStep Tech - change to disabled
TurboMode Tech - change to disabled
BcLK Frequency - change to 180
CPU Voltage control - change to manual
CPU voltage - change to 1.26
DRAM Bus Voltage - Look up your RAM and set this to the voltage the specs say to run the ram at.
Load-Line Calibration - change to enabled

Under Advanced tab-

C1E Support - change to disabled.

All done. Make sure you EXIT AND SAVE the bios and don't accidentally exit and discard changes.

Once the computer is up, run intelburn on veryhigh settings for 10 passes. If it passes that, run prime95 on blend for 12 to 24 hours. If it passes those you can try to bump your CPU voltage down a notch at a time and re-run each test until it fails then go back up to the next highest known good voltage. Or you can keep it how it is.

**Note** The above will leave HT on. If you plan on gaming on your system, HT can actual hinder gaming performance. I would recommend turning it off on a gaming rig. Turning HT off will allow you to drop the vcore to about ~1.23v and your temps will drop a good bit too.

Nope, do a quick search in google. Hyper-threading will def not help and may possibly hinder any game to date. The only thing HT is good for is processor intensive programs, i.e. encoding.

Don't worry though, you did not waste money buying a chip with HT only not to use it. IMO, you have the best chip for your buck right now... even with sandy bridges being available, as many people are finding out SB chips are burning up (literally) when OCing, not to mention the whole DRM issue. Be a proud 1366 owner!

With HT off and only at 1.26v your temps are really high. I am not familiar with the CM hyper n 520, but when I was air cooled on my nh-d14 at 4.0ghz with ht off at 1.26v I never got above 61c. And my ambient was wayyyy above 19c. Unfortunately, unless you can get your temps down, I would not OC it anymore.

How did you apply you TIM when you mounted your HS and are you sure you got a good mount? I should go look up the CM n 520, but I am lazy, is it a good HS?

But, to answer your question, I would wait to verify your CPU OC is stable before touching your RAM timings. After you get a verified stable OC, then set your RAM timings.
