It's not that much worse than high end air cooling for half the price if you think that's a catch.....

hmmm im not sure man.

over at the 212 hyper club guys using 920/930 running at 4.0GHz and they seemed to be doing great on there ss for temps...

Seems a really good cooler though for the money

Note that the 212+ has 4 heatpipes and thus you will have 3 lines of paste.

its a 95w cpu
clocked up ~20%
about 115w should be just fine
it can cool amd x4 and x6 125w overclocked cpu's just fine

also depends on case airflow, put good fans behind/above it blowing air out

i use a credit card to fill in the cracks on the heatsink, its pretty rough
then put a pea sized dot on the cpu

So you fill the cracks in with paste to make it flat? then put further paste on the cpu?

you have to fill in the cracks till they are even then this seems to be the best way
