It's a great cooler. Running my i5-2500K @ 4.9GHz with mere 60C temps when running OCCT.

Wow! That's a nice OC. Mind sharing your Bios (multiplier/voltage/other) settings?

Cheap Gigabyte P67A-UD3 board on stock bios (F3). I set the multi to 48, left turbo on, set all turbo multi's to 48, set max watt/amp both to 300, and voltage to 1.350 and off she went! I only tested voltages in 0.025 increments. 1.325 failed, but 1.350 passed IntelBurnTest (Linpack) 1000 pass over night. max temps were 64C and avg was about 61C. I'm thinking about adding another fan to my Hyper 212 Plus to try and drop a few more degrees.

4.5 on a SB chip is like 4 on a normal i7, its easy.

May want to change the fan, but other than that, good to go.

I use push/pull fans with my Hyper 212+. For the added noise, which IMO is considerable when running the fans at 100%, I did not get much of an improvement, maybe 2c lower for an IBT run (seeing ~80c for 1.29v 3.8Ghz HT enabled). It also improved my case airflow which I count as a plus. A PWM Y cable spliter is a must and works perfectly; using a matching CoolerMaster fan.
