Double check my build before I order

I'm putting a build together for a friend who has a $1000 budget. This ended up coming to 879.91 plus like 18 bucks shipping. What's the best place to improve? Maybe the RAM, or adding an SSD? He'll be gaming a lot at 1680x1050.

I was thinking about that, but do you think it'd be overkill for that resolution?

Depending on what games hes playing not at all. My 460's still have some trouble at certain areas on Crysis at max settings running 1680x1050

Sweet. Probably going with an XFX 6950 for 300.

Also, he says he wants a wireless adapter....are USB ones just as fast as PCI? I've never had to look at wireless adapters for desktops before =/

Yeah, definitely get the 6950 and unlock it to a 6970. It will be a noticeable performance increase, and even if it's overkill for some games now, who knows what the future will bring.

Also, I would get a PCI one if you have the option to. My only experience with a USB wireless adapter on my laptop with a dead wireless card was that it was pretty cheesy, but then again it could have just been the one I had.
