With version .68, DHCP would only work half the time, devices and pc's would disappear from the network, router console would report incorrect IP's for computers.

I was shocked netgear even released .98. The slow webpage loading was rediculous. I was ready to return this router until i got a hold of .75. Everything has been good for the last week so far.

It's not bad to go back in firmware. I know some routers will not let you flash to an older version of firmware but that is not the case with the WNDR3700. The only risk is interrupting the flashing process itself which applies to any electronic device with firmware.

If you go to the netgear forums that someone linked earlier you'll end up finding that Netgear had the .75 available on their ftp download site but never officially posted the firmware as an official release. Soon after they pulled the .75 completely and made no comments about .75 at all. Only way to get it is from people who already downloaded it. If you want it you can PM me your email and i'll send you the file.

You don't seem to be setup for a PM. I do have my profile so you can send a message. If you would please, that would be gr8. Thanks.
