Lulz, don't start the whole boycotting thing

That just makes gamers look worse. MW2 boycott for example.

Nah I'm true to my boycotting efforts. I haven't bought anything creative since their last debacle with windows vista/7 drivers.

By placing these on the back of the box, they have officially given you an opportunity to find out what you are getting into before you even open the box and if you have internet access, you can even read the EULA. Whether it's BS or not isn't the situation here, you agreed by purchasing and using the product. It's a done deal. Don't be angry about it. You know there's fine print on nearly everything you purchase.

He has however, distributed something that is not his.

I read a comment from a programmer who was involved in game encryption some years ago. The maximum for the protection to have effect and the game to gain profit was 6 months.
But afterwards bean counters took charge who had never written a line of code in their life and think that protection can last forever. Another reason for high prices.
This seems to be the case with sony.

On a side note, this thread is starting to make me hate the word fail. It's so overused nowadays.
You obviously have not seen the commercial, it's about no boundaries.

Telling people to think about what they are saying, it's is the most idiotic thing I will ever see or hear.

But whatever, sorry me saying fail pisses you off.

Allegedly, this is Sony's evidence against Geohot:

Sony is pathetic.

No good can come from piracy. If you pirate games then I hope your genetals fall off.
Ok. Let's veiw this scientificially just using predator prey analysis. If torrenting is shut down this reduces inflows to california. These inflows bubble up their real estate prices making them require huge amounts of money. They require pensions in the MILLIONS to survive. Put that relative to the rest of the country or central america. It would require 3 people in central american state in a relative economy to support one person in california. All populations follow the same rules as balloons. Those on the coastal regions are inflationary because they do not have containment by having anything outside of them. Coastal regions are uncontained uncontrolled inflationary locations while central regions are contained by all the economic pressure releasing and valving through the coastal regions. Every government office government employee government ira account manager becomes a relentless money sucking black hole sucking the life out of the contained controlled interior portion of the country. All it takes is sea water and people to produce an explosive mixture of noxious economic suicide gas. You can ditch the need for seawater by simply replacing it with great lakes or lakes the size of small seas.
I don't find hollywood particulary entertaining so don't torrent much. If you do like them then get out there and torrent and torrent and torrent until you suck enough money out of them till their houses go from 500k for a cracker box to 80 k like everywhere else or 900k for a middle class house to 120-150k everywhere else. Because frankly 10000 postal workers needing 3k a month to live after retirement isn't going to work. Suck and leach the money off by the gigabyte, trigabyte and frigabyte. Or else we are going to have to have seperate state moneys and exchange rates and your 3 dollar box of cheerios is turning into a 15 dollar box of this is relatively fair realityo's.

I also stay true to my boycott. My ongoing boycott of Activision is going on more then 3 years strong lol
Ive also havent bought anything Sony related for I think 6 years...most of the sony products I get are either given to me or I found lol The last Song product I bought was a MD player back in 2004 if I remember
PS3 was given to me. The only Sony thing I buy is basically the games.

... Are you insinuating that US laws may not be relevant in the USA? Geohotz is from the USA and its going to court in the USA.

See that part in bold? In multiple situations the US courts have determined that to be illegal. Including fee changes on credit cards these days. It won't hold up anymore.
