1090T on stock cooler - Page 2

For a overclock to be stable it must be able to pass a slew of stress tests including things such as Prime95, OCCT, and Intel Burn Test which as far as I know is not limited to Intel processors.

Having temps plateau with stock cooling almost will never happen when overclocked. Stock cooling with both Intel and AMD was never meant for high heat loads.

EDIT: 1,000 posts!

Yes.
First you need to replace the thermal paste on the stock cooler before you oc it. It will lower your temp down by about 5c+ and this depends on the thermal paste you use.

Hey man I was looking at ur problem. The best I can tell u is that I was going through the same. Problems as u are going threw. What I basically Did was dialed it back a notch. For some reason even after I applied AS5. It really didn't do anything. Once I went wc that's when I was able to push it over 4k plus
