The most beautiful P67 motherboard around? The Asrock P67 Professional (Fatal1ty) - Page 11

While I'm not a fan of having another gamer's name scribbled all over my board (i'd rather have my own name), I really think people are being overly critical of this board because of Fatal1ty or the fact that it's an Asrock board.

The design of the board has nearly everything you could want from it. The black and red color scheme looks aggressive and sharp and is only accentuated by the heatsink design that doesn't look skimpy like so many of the P67 boards. Also, the gold caps compliment the black and red color scheme nicely. If they were say blue like so many other caps, they would contrast the entire color scheme. The gold is a nice, clean look.

Why even compare it to an ROG board? Sorry, but if they removed Fatal1ty's name from this board, I would choose this board over any Asus designed motherboard in a heartbeat. The layout just looks far superior.

Currently, the best looking P67 boards are Gigabyte's UD7, Asrock's P67 Extreme6, Asrock's P67 Fatal1ty board (minus his name all over it), and MSI's Marshall.
Id take this board over a shoddy asus anyday. There's hardly a whisper of trouble from the asrock p67 boards

Why only 772 Mb in Linx? That is so low, I would think at least 2 GB would be better for stability testing. Or am I wrong?

Without the branding and profess-one-al series label I think it would look pretty good with AMD GPUs and Dominators. The UEFI background is ridiculous though. It's a shame so many manufacturers, in any industry, don't understand that your product tends to look a lot better when it isn't plastered with logos or branding. Put it on the box, not the board.

I love the mouse USB port idea. If that can actually produce a stable 1000Hz it would be great for gaming. Yeah, a lot of gaming mice now have the option built into their drivers, but most USB ports can't poll at 1000Hz consistently and it can be difficult to overclock older mice on Windows 7. While I chose to run my WMO at 1000Hz on my 775 system recently it only actually measured 200Hz when overclocking on Windows 7 for example.

Love the new Gigabyte boards, especially that new X58A-OC - I would like to see a similar board for P67/Z68.

I think the ASUS Sabertooth P67 could look pretty good in a build when you see it in a case with a pair of GPUs and HSF installed, though not out on its own.

And then the shields collect dust and adds a nice gray tint of death to your mobo =/

^Good job. I wish I could go to computex.

I cringed while I read the thread because I own the board. Fatality's face bothered me a bit when I first started using this but meh, I didn't even notice the background while I was overclocking with the board. Fatality's UEFI stable BIOS beats gigabyte's shoddy bios that sometimes pumps 1.7v to your vcore if you mess up.
