The most beautiful P67 motherboard around? The Asrock P67 Professional (Fatal1ty) - Page 12

From reading all the "face/image" complaints on this thread, I am left wondering....

Are these alll 12 year old kids? *** does color/image have to do with performance?

Do these people ever actually use their systems for anything but a bios playground?

and finally,

For the price and features, the fatal1ty is a very good board and if ya don't like it, go kiss Bill Gates blue/white azz, buy a similiar colored board, then **** as you enjoy your windows95 view.

That said,

I personally like the red scheme of the board as Green reminds me of the p4 days, blue and white looks like every other guys cheapo "Microsoft suppporter" production board, and grey and black boards are institutionally boring.

With a complimenting colored windowed case, water cooling not needing a dumptruck size heatsink to hide 50-70 pecent of the board, and red heatsinked Ram, this is a great looking board for the price!

Just my 2c worth.

Hi all,

Just want to ask about a question here. I had this USB 3.0 bracket from Fatal1ty P67 Professional and i'd mounted it on my 5.25" bay. But, unfortunately the cable is not long enough to reach my mobo. I'm searching for this cable that can extend from the cable of the bracket to the mobo. What is the commonly-known name for the extension cable so I can connect the cable into my mobo.. Thx a lot

I like the Z68 version of the Fatal1ty mobo better. At least they got some of the red colors changed to black. The updated BIOS also will let you have the option to get rid of Wendel's devilish face.

The problems with this model is that the integrated speaker makes too much noises for no bloody reason, and the only thing that stops it is the BSOD (Beat the ****-out Of Derp).

Wow, didn't realize the G1 has LEDS on the heatsink! Interesting, to say the least. (Didn't notice the other heatsink at first either. A magazine clip? lol, that's funny!)

At first, I didn't like the G1 b/c I don't like green. But then I saw an article on a release party where they matched it with the Nvidia case and the pics looked really good. On its own, I don't like it, but put it in a color-matched case and it's pretty sick, and I go from hating green to liking it.

Also, same thing with the Fatal1ty, the Z68 is nice, but put the P67 board in a red-and-black themed case and the red (is that anodized aluminum?) really stands out. Man, that board would look GREAT in my case! But if there's other colors and non-red lights, it clashes and the red looks not as good. (btw, get rid of Fatal1ty!)

IMHO, the 1155 UD7 is one of the best looking dark boards. I like the heatsinks, I like the fact that there are no garish colors. But I haven't seen it in a case yet. I might not like it next to themed surroundings. It may make it look too bland, idk.

So to sum up, the prettiest board is LARGELY dependent on its case, lights, everything around it. It makes a big difference whether the board is in a case or not.
