I like clear, color tubing isn't my cup of tea + you can see if you have water in your system with your eyes

Yeah, white definitely does look the best, I concur. White it is. No UV, just white. Maybe I'll get some white cathodes in the future, who knows.

I am going to go with the quick disconnects. Seems very quick and easy, thank you for bringing it to my attention, charlie. Although wermad's method of draining looks intuitive, seems like a lot of trouble to go to when QDC's can be added extremely easily.

My setup is changing tongue.gif. The drain line I added was out of the way of the main components, easy enough to avoid any dripping (I have the vl4 qdc). I like the Koolance qdc, go w/ the vl3n if your looking into them, best one w/ minimal to no drip of all the ones they offer.

These are the ones I was going to go for:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=11742&cat=1854&page=1

They're just VL3's as far as I can tell. The VL3N's cost £3 more per fitting, that's £9 more in total, which is quite a bit more for a fitting:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=11748&cat=1854&page=1

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=11747&cat=1854&page=1

Are they really worth the price difference? Surely a few drops from the VL3's won't hurt, it'll only drip onto kitchen towel anyway.

EDIT: Just read a review on Skinnee. Seems the VL3N's are worth it, actually. You're right. I'll be sure to get these instead due to the better flow rates and VL4's being unavailable from the website I'm ordering from.

Yeah, another for white.

Why is GBP bad to convert? Care to enlighten me?

Hope everything goes well in Australia. Hope you're not moving to QLD, they're gettin' hammered over there, I'm in Perth myself. It's so freakin' hot!

It's just bad if you're converting it to another currency. I was recently in Amsterdam and for 45 GBP I got 50 Euros. It used to be 50 GBP for 90 Euros or so. I get money from my Dad each month, it used to be $200 AUD for around £100. Now it's $200 for £120. When the conversion to the target amount raises, the other has to fall.

I'm moving near Sydney, fortunately. God bless those poor people. It's been raining where my Dad lives though still.

I was shocked at delivery prices in Australia, damn! I was happy I got my 800D for $400 shipped though. They have pretty low delivery prices. Thanks, I'll be sure to make the most of it.

I see, I see.

Yeah, I heard about a 13 year old boy who told the rescuers to rescue his younger sister and mother first then come back for him. He was in a car that was pinned to a tree in like 2m high water. He couldn't swim and unfortunately he drowned. Kid deserves a medal for his sacrifice. He's been announced by a bunch of news programs as a hero which is good.

Yeah, it sucks if you live in Australia and are into computer. We totally get kicked in the balls.
