Keyboards take forever to dry... If yours is a rubber dome keyboard then there just may be hope for you after all, because the rubber dome membrane covers 99% of the electronics.

tl;dr

I spilled milk over the numpad of my old blue g15, thought it was toast. Purchased a new orange g15, then after discovering that it was a piece of ****, returned it and intended on getting a saitek eclipse 2. During this layover I decided to try my old g15 instead of using the junker 5 dollar keyboard that everyone keeps in their closet. It has worked perfectly ever since.

Just clean it up, let it dry, reassemble and let 'er rip.

Good luck,
Jgweb2000

The problem with rubber domes is that what you spill on them can often render them mushy, at least from experience of typing on standard keyboards that have spilled on.

Aside from those waterproof keyboards with completely isolated keys, best way to go is a keyboard with drainage channels.
