Dell U2311H?

Thread Starter
I am looking for a monitor to replace my E19FPb (Which I still oddly think it is the best monitor in existence). I have tried shopping around but every monitor I try I ship back because the color looks terrible. The only monitor I am currently considering is the U2311H. Does anyone have any suggestions or info?

I have 3x 2211h's which is pretty much the same exact monitor, just 21.5" viewable over 23". The u2211H is usually ~$200 if they're running a sale, and the U2311H is usually $240 on sale... To me, 1.5" isn't worth $40.

Anyway, I think the monitor's great so far. I don't regret going from a big 37" to that even if I'm only going single monitor. The dot pitch and resolution per surface are, is much greater, and black do seem deeper. The old 37" was an S-MVA though, so viewing angle I think were actually slightly better on it.

I got a U2311H last week, excellent screen. Only real problem i have with it is the stand is a little stiff (mostly when turning it into portrait mode)

It shares the qualitys of the U2211H in terms of its panel from what I've seen too

As a proud owner of a Dell U2311h I can say that I love this monitor. The colours are great, the picture is sharp and its great for gaming all kinds of games. I dont regret one second that I bought this. I think you should definitely try it out.

I made a fairly lengthy post about the U2311H in this thread last week, if you want to have a read.

Got both U2311H and a P2310H, and must say the extra to go for IPS was well worth it. Colours are much much better. So much so I hate the P2310H

My findings with ghosting or w/e you want to call it match crackers, never noticed any at in a large range of games.

Solid monitor. Only problem I've ever read was a purple / blue tinting on black problem in one of the corners (usually a lower one). Most can get it to go away or have it less noticeable with color correction settings and profiles, etc.

i had two in the past, it's a great monitor for the price, the ZR24w is superior IMO but then again, it costs more

What could possibly a U2411 have that the U2410 doesn't already?
