Thread Starter
i would like to play games on my htpc with a xbox controler via play and charge wire if possible?

The drivers installed but everytime i use the controller it turns on my xbox and i do not want that.

How can i avoid this?

Play and charge kit only sends power through the cable to the controller, no data to control. You have to either buy a wired controller or the USB Xbox wireless adapter to make the PC have an access point for the controller. Otherwise the controller is still paired with your xbox.

Had same problem with my computer.
