P5N32-E SLI Problems

Hi.

A week ago I bought a Asus P5N32-E SLI motherboard , and after getting everything neatly installed in my case, I went on to start it , heard a normal beep.
But after that, it gets stuck on the Splash Screen, so I cannot use my keyboard or anything at all.

I tried the following things
Switch CPU (Q6600 for Pentium 4(In case it was a unsupported cpu for the bios)
Switch GPU (GTX260 for 8600GT)
Only 1 Stick of Transcend 2GB RAM
Only Barebone and the three steps listed above too.

The motherboard itself does respond to everything, e.g; when I leave out critical parts , the corresponding POST code is heard.

If anyone could help me get a solution, it would be greatly aprreciated.
Regards
