Thread Starter
Thanks for the suggestions guys!

I'll have to check out the scene and probably start with some of the custom games.

I will say the first thing I did after I completed the SC2 campaign was ***. Not once. But thrice.

Easy is far too boring. Although, one time I played easy just so I could spread creep across the entire map lol.
I've managed Hard AI before, but I try easy when I want to mess around, remind myself of my juvenile Starcraft 64 days.

as for multiplayer: DO NOT skip the training games, play them! team games are the best for so many reasons. on a 4 v 4 you can not only learn from your teamates' (while pissing them off) but have some help so you dont feel as overwhelmed.

learn a few basic strategies like making a wall, and massing units, and it starts to get fun.

otherwise, custom games are where many people get thier money's worth. it was this case in starcraft 1, and warcraft 3. they are essentially completely different games using star craft's engine.

try some games like SotIS where you control 1 hero unit pushing waves of computer controlled armies.

but if you take the time, about 20-30 games into multiplayer you will learn and it will become a great experience.

i've had the game for a few weeks and am hooked!

Am I the only one who skips single player on RTS/FPS games and goes straight to multiplayer?

For as long as I can remember from the series like wc3, sc and cod, I never played single player. I just went straight to multiplayer, it's all about the competition for me. Sometimes I would play the single player campaign out of boredom after 4 years of playing the game, lol.
