Have been playing around with my latest budget build and so far i managed to clock my X2 555 to 4ghz. Since it has been a while that i overclocked an AMD cpu i'd like your input.



Haven't touched the nb yet and still in the proces of stresstesting.

Fair play, that's a decent overclock good temp's as well. It's more reliable if you read straight off the CPU temp instead of the Core temp's though

Looks like a very nice low voltage overclock
I'd recommend unlocking but definitely never on an MSI motherboard with crappy mosfets that are bound to blow up if you unlock.

Don't trust the temperature sensors one bit. They are at least 10c off according to the readings in the bios.

It doesn't want to unlock so i'll run dual for now. For gaming i rather take high clocks over another possible dodgy core.

Yeah but that so called dodgy core may clock as high, but that is a nice overclock
