Best ~$25 speakers?

i know they wont be the best speakers, but i need new speakers to replace my crappy dell ones.

also has to be on amazon.

I'm using the S120 speakers right now actually, and I'd have to warn against them. There's a horrible hiss when using the headphones (AKG K450s) and the sound is terrible through the speakers themselves.

How fussed are you with the audio quality?

I like the Altec Lansing BXR1120 speakers...I use them on my TV. $20 on Amazon.com

S220 is noticeably better. That's what's on the OP's link....

ok, its going to be either the BXR1221 or the 220s.

which one?

These aren't too bad and sound good enough for day to day casual use. Not super loud, but has good bass.

To my eye, they look exactly the same as the S120 with an added subwoofer. That's just what I've gathered from the picture though, they could well be improved speakers.

There are a fair few negative reviews on Amazon though, along the same lines as the complaints I had about the S120. Just saying.
