AMD Athlon II x4 620 2.6Ghz
3.25 GB Ram (4gb installed but 32bit OS)
msi-770-G45
ATI Radeon HD 5770

For some reason, out of no where my comp went unstable, it's not overheating (on prime95 torchure test with 4 threads, it only goes up to 70 degrees Celsius)
My fps in the game Global Agenda droped out of no where but is now okay again, and my fps was always fine in the game CrimeCraft, but in DC Universe, my comp restarts (unless i play at lowest posible resolution)
They all run on the same Engine UnrealTournament3

It's like everyday therse something new wrong with the computer, if anyone can help me with this it'd be great
The rated max temp for a Athlon II X 3 is 75c on my motherboard I have it configured to shut the system down if it reaches 65C it sits at 32c idle

Hey so thanks so much for all the help i've gotten so far, just 1 last thing
little while back i used ATI CCC to automaticaly overclock my gpu
i guess it put it to high so it failsafe crashed whenever i turned on
right now i got CCC isntalled but the services are stopped and it doesn't open at startup
if i try to run anything to do with CCC it loads the overclocking and failsafe crashes. i've tried re-installing (all the components and then the install manager) still didn't work
any way i can fix this? maybe like somewhere in the registry where it saves it or something?

you dont have to have CCC. you can install the drivers only and use one of several 3rd party programs to OC your GPU. i didnt use CCC cause it caused my computer to lock up without any OC, if i clicked on it, the OS would lock. this happened on Win 7 64bit.

well im using msi-afterburner right now, but me and a friend both play DC Universe online with the same GFX card, but for some reason, my games freezes up after 40 minuites, but his runs fine on highest settings (i have to play 680x400 resolution cause if i play full resolution it crashes after 2 minuites)
the only difference between our cards is that he has CCC and i dont

The CPU fan is probably not working correctly. Windows usuallly sends you a message saying CPU fan not working properly causing a CPU overheat.

leave it uninstalled. having CCC not installed helping my computer a lot. try resetting the OC... monitor temps before it locks up, find whats causing the crash
