Doesn't really seem to be giving me any problems..

Starting to wonder if its my CPU getting hot. It never seems to do it on boot

Ive had the same problem, only with XP though, If I goto any other OS than XP everything works fine, I would recommend trying a diffrent OS.

Ok well I wiped my PC and started again.

Seems ok at the moment, however in the Event Viewer I noticed

Nope W7. None of the patches are successfully installing either.

I ran a chkdsk and it said there were 0 bad sectors

It seems to be worse when I try and watch a video. Can't really see it that much when just surfing the web "/
