And yes, I would pay more to know that I'm using my system to capacity, not holding a particular piece of hardware back because another component is lacking the capability to be fully utilized. Nevermind what game I'm playing, that is irrelevant.

In regards to Intel's sockets, I'll choose one and ride it out until an upgrade is warranted. AMD has served me well until now. I need something that performs on a higher level.

Your crusade against Intel is killing any logical argument in regards to system performance, at least in our conversation (yours and mine, possibly others as well).
It's funny to hear you complain about a bottleneck when, if your not lying about your system specs, you would never have one. It's been proven time and time again that if you are gaming over 1080p, you get 100% gpu usage.

But hey, have fun trolling a section you don't belong in.

Me? Trolling? After nearly 900 posts I must say, that's a first.

There are many games that I run with 99% usage on all three, yes. Quite true about that. However there are other games that simply go no higher than 30% on all three, and it is those that I wish to correct. Sometimes it is the game/engine's fault.

Some games don't run at all in my Surround resolution so what then? I'm screwed because I went with AMD and didn't know better at the time and now that I've added to my system I've learned the hard way that I need to upgrade.

Put my rig up against the very same rig with in Intel cpu and compare the results. I'm pulling less fps.

Thanks for your post though, 'twas a huge addition to our debate.

I have no bias towards either, he was making incorrect claims and I called him out.

And you're just as much of a fanboy as they are for saying that about a product for which hasn't been released and has ZERO benchmarking numbers.

If I had the money to build a system like that, there's NO WAY I would go AMD at this moment in time. Why would I limit myself to something slower for more money (x6 vs 2500k). I don't have a clue how you can argue otherwise. Intel simply offers too much of a performance premium at the high end.

Yup, your right, the difference between 110 and 125 fps is mind shattering. I can't see why you haven't jumped yet.

Nowhere in my post did I mention building a system today, now what are you talking about?

On a 3 monitor setup? I can guarantee he's not pulling those numbers in all games.

If you would've read my earlier posts... I'm simply trying to reach 60+. These are not 3d monitors. I'm also trying to maximize my system's potential and AMD simply doesn't cut it.

I can hit 120+ in some games, yes. Certainly not all games.

What day are you talking about then? Tomorrow? Yesterday? If you're paying attention, you claimed his post was trolling - his post was about moving to SB with that system. And since I do not have said system, I would have to build it. And as such I argued that it would be a mistake not to go SB.
