What medium are you installing from?
(CD/ISO/Files)
And does it happen while the files are being installed...or when trying to launch the game?

Its an ISO (there is 2 ISO) and it is happening at "InstallShield" stage before the actual install going on.

Thanks you for your support.

Oh and I forgot to tell that I also tried to copy the ISO content to a folder and nothing changed.

ISO? I'm guessing you downloaded it then? Probably people won't help much if they know it's downloaded. If you have the legit disk, try and install from that, if not, here's some things I pulled up from a simple Google search:

Quote:
i have turned the printer spooler off and on, unchecked the "protect my computer & data from unauthorized program activity" option under RUN AS... for the setup.exe, verified all the appropriate registry paths, and even installed some sort of update that a guy on the Bioware site said would work. i am going to try praying and fasting next.
the installshield support suggests that this is an error on the part of the software manufacturer.

la solution est très simple:
avant d'installer ce jeux,desactive l'antivirus et le parefeux(meme celui integré a windows).
ensuite installe ton jeux preféré et laisse operer la magie.

Translation:
The solution is simple: Before installing the game, de-activate antivirus and firewall, even the one integrated into windows. Next, install your game, and let the magic happen.

Thanks you for your help.
I didnt know this forum is "legal" so I'm for that.

Just help me understand the first answer you found:
What is a "Printer spooler"? - is it something with the printer cuz I dont have one.
Where is the "protect my computer & data from unauthorized program activity" option? I couldn't find it.
And the thing with the registry, I have no idea what to do with it.

Again thanks for the comment.
