hx750: 4 pin cpu cord

Thread Starter
I am looking at getting the hx650 or hx750 to upgrade my computer away from all the dell b.s.

I have ordered a Cooler Master Storm Scout mid tower and a sapphire 6870.

I have read on reviews that corsairs 4 pin cpu cord is arranged in this order:
1 2 3 4

my motherboard requires the 4 pin to be arranged in this order:
1 2
3 4

can anyone tell me if this is true or have any experience on the topic. this is my first build and want to make sure everything will hook up before ordering.

thanks
Master Scout

The HX750 only has 6-pin (3*2) and 8-pin (4*2) modular connections. Chances are the 4-pin CPU connector is hard-wired anyway. You have nothing to worry about. The 4-pin connector you speak of has been standard on PSUs for a decade.
