Major problems with GA-870A-UD3

Hello.
So i bought this board when my MSI DKA790GX died on me. I got some RAM from a friend 4 gigs of OCZ XMP 1600MHz.

I hooked everything in and began installing windows 7.
Everything was fine and the installation was lightning fast.

Then when i installed some drivers and rebooted the computer suddenly rebooted during the windows logo loading screen. And it was impossible to start the computer.

Tried resetting cmos, tried switching the Ram slots, diffrent graphics cards in both of the pci-e slots.

I finnaly reinstalled windows but to my supprise the exact thing happened. It still rebooted on that same exact spot.

I tried a different windows 7 version and now i could get into windows atleast. But i now had other problems.

Bluescreens (memory management, cfds.sys) random reboots, programs hanging and the computer is just super slow.

So i tried another harddrive first andother sata and then an IDE, same thing.

Tried another CPU, same thing.

I ran memtest for a few hours but no errors was found. Same thing with OCCT and prime. I can run prime for 5 hours but maybe if i open a program i get a bluescreen.

This is the strangest thing i have ever experienced and i have no idea whats wrong. Must be the motherboard or RAM? Maybe some compatibility problems?

PS, the computer is not clocked, everything is stock.

It's probably a faulty mobo. Have you tried with a new PSU?

Run memtest on 8 passes. Then post results.

try going into safe mode and see if the computer runs... my money is that ati drivers are causing problems with a recent windows update

I was going to say it's the PSU until I saw you could run prime for 5 hours, are you sure the ram is working properly? Strangest problem I've ever read about lol, no idea what's going on.

I guess you could try to rma your mobo, if that's the faulty part.

F5A, installed newest bios from usb but nothing changed

Now i cannot enter windows after a fresh installation of w7 professional.
I havent even gotten to install the drivers it just restarts at the loading screen.

I had it running prime for about 5 hours ended it and opened firefox. BAM, got a bluescreen.

Put the ram to 1333mhz?

I have the same motherboard and without a CPU-NB voltage boost I can't get it to boot with the higher multiplier.

I have 1600 mhz ram running at 1333 mhz since I'm upping CPU-NB voltage for higher NB freq's I can't add more volts for the higher ram speed. Finding I need an extra .5 v to stabilize 1600 than 1333 with all other settings the same.

Also if you're ACHI or RAID please use the drivers for them during Windows installation. I found random BSOD's without them when I first got this motherboard.
