What motherboard do you have exactly? 1000MHz HT Link isn't right, that's stock for the old Athlon dual cores (K8 architecture). Sounds like you might have a really old motherboard. That could put a problem on overclocking later on.
And you do NOT have CPU-NB voltage? If that's the case, keep your HT and NB as close to stock as possible then. Your clock settings and voltages should be all bone stock right now. Which is a good thing, you should now slowly be able to raise things and find your limits.
