Keyboard commands are your friend, too. Shift+D to dock at a station, c to open up comms with your target, etc. Most of the menus show you the commands, so it would be advisable to learn them.

The keyboard commands make it a lot smoother, you don't have to fight all the menus to get to the screen you want. Trust me, lol.

X3: Terran Conflict is a pretty impressive and ambitious journey in the sky that should quench the thirst of those who longs for life beyond the earthly limits. It is so light that athletes hardcore space to consider it as a piece of lint, not as complex and complicated than competition 3000AD alien sim Galactic Command. X3 is hard on the team, unless you detune a bit at first, and is not totally devoid of edges.
