OCZ Vindicator Worth it?

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...ustomerReviews
The sale is indeed a ridiculous one.
But as far as I understand, the OCZ Vindicator is an old copy of the Scythe Ninja Plus and while performing simlarily, I don't know if it can be all that reliable. According to the few obscure reviews around the web, it actually isn't that reliable even though it's a direct copy of the Scythe Ninja. "...blue screened when at max load..."

The Corsair A70 on the other hand, is on a decent sale (http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...ustomerReviews), but it's still $30 more than that $13 OCZ. Adding a bit to the $30 I could buy myself good RAM for once (look at what I have -.-)
Additionally, the Vindicator looks pretty massive in dimensions... according to regular measurements it will fit in my case (Thermaltake V3.), but I can't tell if it'll block my RAM slots or not...

So does the insane price of the OCZ make it worth it? (it REALLY is obscure...)
Or will paying a little more for the Hyper 212+, or even up to the A70 be a smarter decision?

I guess... but I could lose quite a bit of time if things don't work out correctly or the like.
And if it ends up being too large, I'd have to return it, and pay a restocking fee.
That'd seriously put a damper on my day.

I still have no idea though (literally nothing I can find in the last 2 hours), how does it compare to current heatsinks actually?

Um, googling, I found a few review sites that have it against coolers such as the TRUE. However, I'm not sure whether these sites are trustworthy or decent enough. I had the same problem with purchasing my cooler. Some say it was crap, some say it was terrible, but when I got it and isntalled it, it performed as well as my old OCZ Vendetta II.

Anyway, here are the links:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/2205/6
http://www.legitreviews.com/article/471/4/
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coo...r_6.html#sect0

P.S. Looking at it, I don't like the mounting system very much, and the Vendetta II had the same thing, but it held fine and haven't had any problems moving that tower around at all.

Exactly, that's why I don't really know what to expect from it.

I feel like lugging my setup over to NCIX, holding the OCZ up (in box) to the mobo to estimate whether it will fit or not...
There's no measurements about the fan clearance or anything.

I blocked one of my DIMM slots with my current cooler. I should've done what you're gonna do. I'm an idiot. But I don't see myself going with 8GB of RAM, so that should be fine. But for $13, that's a great bargain!

That's a bit unfortunate. I'm kind of sick of tower coolers. I know they're great and all, but they're all so darn big.

I think I'll be better off with the smaller Hyper 212+ or something...

Now my situation is complicated with the possibility of exchanging my new mobo back in...
