had the little ASUS copper heatsink which was a dualslot but it was just a sink on the core (for some reason ASUS used that sink on a majority of the cards they sold in the 8800-9800 era, as clunky and ineffective as it was)

I have an EVGA 8800GTS 320mb ref card in the PC that's now building up dust in the corner... Back in the day it just was like you could do anything with it.

Removed the edit lol, I'm so freaking tired that i'm totally confused.

It seems like there is a huge gap with that card. I can guarantee you it's sits very close to the memory heatsinks.

I have the 9800GT. I was going to upgrade for a GTX460 but so glad I DIDN'T. Seriously the 9800GT/8800 cards are underrated in my opinion, they are the best performance/price ratio cards you could ever have picked up. I'm thinking of picking up another 9800GT when they're dirt cheap in the near future, and SLi'ing to create a solid graphical experience.

That would be a great idea I paid $100 for both of my cards and they perform great!
