You should be getting zero errors, that's the only option closest to being sure of a stable OC. You're going to have to up the voltage, or drop clocks, preferably memory.

EDIT: Looks like it's already been said. Disregard! tongue.gif

Backed memory down to 1851 and 4 minutes in has 0 errors with the same fps, 140.

Let it run for 15 more minutes at least. If your error free, and care about the last few mhz, up the memory until you start to get a few errors, then back off about 5-10mhz for stability.

I'm not really sure what the standard length is for running GPU stress tests. Anyone have any insight?

Depends on the tests being used.. I have googled around and come to a conclusion, based on what I've read through various forums:

20-25 minutes on Furmark (or similer [OC Scanner, Kombuster, etc.]). I'd probably use ~30 minutes for any other test being used, depending on how hard it is on the gpu.

I plan on about 30 minutes with OCCT and 20 minutes with Furmark (with many options selected).

Backed down to 1801 men since I got a few errors. Now I loaded it up and fps went from 140 to 350. No errors yet, will post back with results. Thank you all for all your help.

Edit: made it about 5 minutes perfect then shot up with 2770 errors.

Yea, like I said earlier though, I ran both Furmark and Kombustor at overclocked settings for an hour or two each with no errors.

OCCT had thousands of errors within seconds of loading it up. Seems to me like OCCT is the way to go.

Or maybe folding too, but I don't wanna get into that.
