I'm considering replacing my pumps.
They are just not good enough for the amount of restriction I have in my loop.

I'm considering going to two 355 or two 35X.
The 355 are cheaper, and I can put them together with a dual head.
The 35X are about 30$ more per pump, but much stronger as far as I have seen in reviews.

I'm also considering a triple xspc with 3x355, but I guess it will be too redundent.

So what do you think?

They are. The stock tops are removable just the same as the one on the MCP355.

The 35X product page lists the top as a separate item you can buy for the MCP350/355 as well, saying it is compatible.

You should definitely be able to run two of them with an XSPC Dual top.

Are you going to use their PWM signal through the motherboard? If you aren't the MCP355 is a better deal as the performance difference between an 35X and a 355 + Top is minimal.

Seems you are right.
I got a confirmation from frozencpu that the pumps and dual top are compatible smile.gif

Guess I know what I'm going to get.
