I'm "upgrading" from an AMD x4 955. Why? Just 'cause I want to try something new. Well that and my computer is going to be reused within the household anyways.

I think I'm going to stick with a Sandy Bridge 2500k for at least a couple years... if not longer... waiting it out for something really worth upgrading to (kind-of like the jump from single-core to dual-core technology). ^_^; Just don't think any games will come out in the next five+ years that require a better CPU (thinking five years back a high-end CPU can play games that are out now just fine).

It's graphics upgrades I'm not understanding... there's nothing I want to buy into... but I need something to tide myself over with until later this year.
