XFX XXX vs Corsair HX

Thread Starter
Need a 650w psu, HX goes for $150 and the XFX for $120, is there any noticable difference?

The budget is not the problem, just wondering what will perform better.

I'd go with corsair.

Edit : just looked at specs, both are same I believe with 52a on 12v rail, but I'd go for corsair but thats just me.

Both are excellent units.

I'd go for Corsair as well due to after sales support, which XFX seems to be lacking in heavily as of the past 6 months or so.

If XFX got their crap together I'd go XFX, but imo the extra $30 is worth it to have a great support crew behind you in the event of anything happening smile.gif

The Corsair HX650 is a SeaSonic S12E, which is basically an efficiency boosted version of the S12 platform. The XFX is based on a modified S12 platform. The Corsair is a bit better all around.
