did you manage to solve the noise issue? I'm thinking about buying the new koolance dual res and the mcp655 vario's instead - what do you think? It might be even better to have the two res as cylinders inside the case?
Hi, sorry for the late response...I've been away from the forum a couple days.

I solved the noise problem by buying a mcp655 vario pump and a bitspower single 5.25" drive bay reservoir....SILENT, even on setting 5. It was hard for me to believe it too, but I do know. (: P.S. I only have it on the bottom of my case on top of the pad it comes with. I didn't secure it to the bottom of the case because I didn't want the hassle of it getting in the way when I needed to unplug the cords from the power supply. It works great!

Now I just need to sell my old pump and reservoir. (:

I've been thinking about getting a D5 to replace the 355 lately, but the prospect of trying to sell the pump/res combo is holding me back. How much are you planning on selling the 355 for methos?
