Crucial RealSSD 64GB x2 RAID 0 Striped?

Hey everyone. I recently got two of these.......

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-361-_-Product

Anyways I tried putting these two in RAID 0 when I first got them. I ran some benchmarks after installing on my Marvell RAID Controller and I was only getting around 225MB/s read time. Has anyone else done this and if so did you get better marks than I did? Also any suggestions to ensure that if I do this again I can do it properly? I thought it was just putting the controller in AHCI mode and then hitting "CTRL + M" to go and create the array. Thanks a lot!

Re-do the array on the Intel ports it will be better.

if I re-do the array on the Intel will I be receiving speeds beyond 355 Read and 75 Write? I just wanna get speeds that are better than just one SSD on the SATA III Port.

Get a RAID card....you just said your getting 225MB/s read time as it is so try the Intel ports you will get around 500MB/s in RAID 0 from them ports.

any suggestions for a RAID card? should I get one that supports SATA III?
I have mine on the 3Gb/s SATA II (Intel) ports and I get 535MB/s read times and around 141 write times on the sequential at least.

Using two 64GB Crucial C300 SSD's so...

I'd say go with that. The SATA III ports are pretty poor right now. I've seen some people get decent numbers with them, but I don't know if they're up to the task.
