TDP supposed to be this high?

im just checking if my CPU TDP should be this high under load:

this program that came with my motherboard is very accurate so I assume that its correct, im at 3.4ghz right now

Stock is 125W I believe, so yes, it is 'supposed' to be this high...
Still very high though...

At stock the 955 has a TDP of 125W (3.2Ghz), so that looks absolutely fine to me.

As im sure your aware not all 955s will it 3.8 and be stable,my two buddies have the exact same hardware and i mean EXACT ! in everyway shape and form ,including same BIOs,both with 955s same C3 revs too ! anyhow one just gets to alittle over 3.7 ghz and the other almost to 3.8 before its starts BSODing.As you may have heard,Its the luck of the draw some do,some dont,myself in knowing this im sitting a 4.0ghz with my new AMD3 PII X4 965 build for my rec-room and with NO voltage increases whatsoever.The 965s are binned abit higher,i think that helps,but i can tell you this its a well spent $12.99 extra i paid over the 955s retail cost.
