PSU x2 wired up together - Page 2

How exactly does your computer benefit from this? I see no point unless you don't have the cash to get a decent PSU of a bigger size. You don't even have a crossfire setup!

Aww be kind people. I think it's kind of cool, though pointless. BUT he did manage to do it with out killing him self, blowing up his computer, or burning down his house... So that should get him a little credit, lol.

It's a public forum, and you've made a lot of very elemental mistakes. And you're not an electrical engineer, or at least not a very good one, since it appears you confused the current reading for your GPU as the current consumption of the graphics card.
Still pointless and forums like this is about critics too. You learn from it and debates go around the table. Learn to live with it and still attaching two power supply is such a waste of electricity.

Um, why not just have the 700w power your whole system and be done?

I have had one power supply powering my GPU(a 300w Dell, my GPU was a 9600GT) and powered the power supply using the paperclip method...worked fine(used some lame old bluestar for X4 955+mobo.
