now y if i have my 700w it exceeds the 72A limit and hits like 80A on 12v some when ever I have overclock my cpu over 4ghz it would fail, isn't that a lack of power? when OC voltage exceeds 1.6v there is no stability even with the low temps

The PSU supplies 71 amps at 12 volts. Your GPU uses 101 amps at 1.05 volts. This is basic High School level stuff.

So you took a huntkey, huge ripple, and combined it with another no-name psu, huge ripple too probably, end result LOADS off ripple in probably all the rails :I
Also FYI the huntkey is a 500w unit, rated at 700w.

And you don't have a 1.1kW PSU. And your GPU core consumes 108A*Vcore. Also it belongs in the PSU section, since voltmodding means modifying graphics cards and CPUs to modify Vcore.

I'm sorry, but it's a fail all 'round, I'm afraid.

^^ i highly agree with these statements

Depends on what card you have. One of my cards idles at 50c, but never tops 75c.
Had another card that idle'd at 23c but could reach 87c easily. =P

Post a picture.

There is absolutely no reason a motherboard or watercooling unit would give you power supply recommendations.

Please stop and listen to us.... really, we know what we are talking about. We are trying to help you learn...

What year are you into your EE degree? This is basic Principals of Electical Engineering I stuff....
