Yeah, thanks for that. I'd read that the original X plate screws are too small and you can use the ones from the shroud of the original fan casing as a makedo fit.
That said, fair play to Arctic Cooling, I emailed them and they sent me a pack of the replacements even though they're not making it anymore.
As for the pads, yup, I managed to find a packaged original cooler rather than a second hand one. Handy really, getting the specs for thermal pad sizes from manufaturers is a bit tedious. I must remember to measure all of the little buggers in case they ever need replacing.
Before I found the xtreme I had two different responses from HIS about thermal conductivities and that was after about 2 weeks of them saying I'd void any warranty, of which there wasn't any left anyways.
