Acer Extensa LED backlit dead

Thread Starter
Hi all.

I have a Acer Extensa 5635G where my screen was broken. There were a big crack in the screen, but the backlit still worked and the screen was just white.
Now ive just got an replacement screen, but when i installed it the backlit was gone. Im using it right now, but i need a light in front of the screen to see anything.
If i put the old screen back in, the light is dead in that too now, so dosnt look like its the screen.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

The power connectors for the back light could have been damaged as you replaced the screen. (my first thought)

Theres only one connecter for the screen, so i guess the power for the backlight is in there too. And theres a picture, so i guess the cable is okay, but ill take a look when i get home.
