I just ran 5 mins of Kombuster the Temps went from 42c to 86c didnt go over that. the 86c still seems high to me. Im going to assume maybe it needs to Cure for the week? Im not sure since I dont know much about this.

i am Using AS5 wich they say needs around 200 hours to Cure. Do you think that could be causing the temps while stressing?

Looking online i noticed alot of people getting High temps

Ok lol sorry. I just did some google Research & it seems that ALOT of people have High temp issues with the Asus CuCore 5770

Just a couple of links:

X-fire 5770s are handling most games on high settings at 6040x1080 resolution for me (each card is OCed on stock volts to 950/1400 no problems). The ONLY problem with the 5770 setup is the memory bandwidth. They handle 2x AA no problem but anything after that and you take a massive performance hit.

DX11 also doesn't do so well, I can max BFBC2 at 1920x1080 but to stay at playable frames (45-60 for me) in eyefinity I had to force DX9.

Overall I'm just saying Xfire 5770s will max nearly everything, if your willing to sacrifice the AA.

Edit: I'd say 5770s as a whole get pretty hot, the vram gets so damn hot a lot of these cards would GSOD nonstop, I had to heat sink my first 5770 to keep it from crashing, and before that I had 2 ultra kaze 3000s I had to crank WAY up to keep it from crashing lol. 86C is pretty high but I doubt it would damage anything.. Nobody likes that kind of heat in their case though =\\

I would say go tri-fire and once you get your new x6, go for it. in some cases trifire 5770s actually beat a 5970!

Ok 4:40 seconds on Furmark did not go over 90c. GPU-Z before I started said 43c. Furmark Started the test at 54C and got as high as 90c. This is only Stress testing also. I have no tryed to see what the temps get while gaming.

My Buddy Crosshair127 has the CuCore. He is running it at 970 core i believe. 2 of them would be a good setup.
