I'm sorry, but i'm not at one with the keyboard cool lingo. What is a blue (apart from a colour)? Also, I found some UK based Filcos in stock at an in-between price:
What's the difference between Tactile, Clicky and Linear? What switches do they have? I assume NKR means I can button mash correctus?
Rep+ so far to the friendly folk who shepherd me through the rather daunting world of typing.
blue = clicky = best for typing, has an audible "click" when it activates, and you can feel the click when it activates. has the lowest pressure of the three. these are the easiest to type on and are best for your fingers if you type a lot
brown = tactile = quiet version of the blues with low noise, but retains the click feel when it activates. slightly higher pressure to activate than blues. these are a good compromise switch from what i have heard, but I have never actually tried them myself.
black = linear = no audible click and no click feel, this makes it easier to repeatedly press the same key while gaming. they are the highest pressure keys and are not optimal for typing because of that and because without the "click" you are more likely to bottom out the keys.
