ASUS monitor and HDMI

Thread Starter
The problem I am having is that I have this monitor (ASUS VH236HL-P) and I want to play console games on it using the HDMI but the screen often blacks out for a few seconds and then comes back. I've been using a 25ft HDMI and it blacks out alot, bought a new one (Much better quality HDMI) and it still does this. Where it gets even more confusing is that when I connect a 6ft cable everything works fine. Is there a solution to this or did I waste my money on a bunch of cables. Thank you.

sounds like u answerd ur own question to me, seems like 25ft is too long, maybe try something inbetween if possible like 12-15 feet

What kind of bends are there in the cable? Bend radius is around 2"-3" and is even more risky near the connector.

The first cable I bended the cable quite a bit but this new one I didn't even bend because I left it loose on the floor and tested it before I stapled it on the ceiling.
