So, what's the latest and greatest? Spreadsheet on first page only shows decent OCers, none above 5.4Ghz...I want to see the 5.5Ghz + Ocers.

This is specifically for moderately stable to fully stable overclocks only. Try to stabilize anything about 5.0ghz is nearly imposisble on most chips. I can give you a validation at 5.5ghz but a validation doesn't mean anything.

Maybe the rev 3 boards will be better.
a few others including me are running 1.5 or 1.52 vcore to get stable to 5.0ghz

i'm personally at 1.52 under load at 5ghz...anything less than 1.52 and i get an error in prime95 blend within 45 minutes or so...i say screw it and run 1.52 since my temps are well within acceptable to me (70C noctua nh-d14)

Yea, I have heard that supposedly 1.52 is just some max amount not the true safe voltage and I am trying to be on the safe side with my chip but my temps are also well within safe limits, 67C max folding BigAdv. If however I find that higher is safe as well I may kick it up after I RMA my P8P67 PRO to get the new chipset.

CPU-Z reading is the only real reading. Windows gets it wrong ~50% of the time. Mine shows that I'm at stock when I'm at 5.0ghz and 5.2ghz when I turn on the 52x multiplier.

Honestly, try a bios flash if you are realling having the issues you say you are.

erm, I had my window open during a cold snap (about 8c) the first time I validated. The last time ambient was at 15c. So yah, i'm running a bit hot atm. On a side note, I'm running 24/7 at 47ghz at 1.36vcore with temps at 70c, ambient at 20c but don't know if that's still too hot or not. What ya think?
