Do you have a pic of the inside of your rig? I am interested to see your heatsink and those fans. You do have a good chip.

I have a different motherboard, but that was basically it.
I enabled LLC (disables vdroop)
set the vcore
upped the multi to 50 (also added .3 to the bclk to bring it just over 5Ghz, was 99.8 auto)
set the ram timings & frequency.
That was it, fired up prime & let er rip.

Thank you. I am using offset + turbo voltage. My system crashes if idle volts are too loo. My idle vcore is 1.080, Prime95 blend @ 1.368 4.7GHz. I will try to aim for 4.8Ghz since 5Ghz is not attainable.

Maybe you guys can help me (and hello, first time here):
P8P67 Pro + 2600K
Trying to hit 5Ghz barrier.
Went all the way up to Vcore 1.45. I don't dare going more...
4.8 is working great, half an hour Prime95 stable @ 1.4V (I just didn't wait longer)
Nothing much changed, LLC is at ultra high, Phase Control Extreme, power savings turned off, thermal monitoring on, HT on (also tried off)...
Tweaking via fixed multi, not turbo.
But the biatch just won hit 5.0:
The problem is, computer turns on, but when windows loading is supposed to come up, just stops there with blinking curson and that's it!
Temps are great, serious watercooling setup and all that.
Also in windows on 4.8, great temps, barely touching 70, on all cores + HT.
I had my 920 running at 4.2 Ghz, just so hard to believe SB won't hit 5.
Any reason why it just stop at (apparently) exactly 5ghz???

Thanks Kosta

Try 1.48v HT off... It's relatively safe.
