I'll be in this club soon with 2500k.

My 5.2ghz boot up. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2194378

As I type this I'm running P95 blend at a little over 5ghz.. Been going for 10 minutes and temps are in low 60s.

In load validation.

Prime95 runs easy for me but when I try to run intel Burn test it's much more tougher even though it doesn't take very long at all to do 10 passes.

So I figure I ask this.. I know the chip isn't great after reading various threads here but can it truly be this bad. I cannot get it 1hour stable @ 4.9Ghz at 1.52vcore (101 bsod). Before that I tried 5Ghz but gave up after it kept failing at 1.56vcore. Temps (it only ran max 10mins before it fell over) maxed out at 76 degrees.

add: it's all auto but I've tried changing VCCIO and PLL, RAM defaults and I've tried offset / manual. I mean this chip sucks but I don't think I've read anyone have this bad of a chip? It's like 2-3 Multi's too low compared to the better ones.

Amazing low voltage on you 2500k. Looks golden.

Prime95 blend for an hour is too easy.

I vote to do away with the 1 hour Prime95 requirement and just do a simple 10 pass Intel Burn Test run on very high settings. Intel Burn test is tough to pass.

Haven't followed this thread for what seems ages ago...well, more like 3-5 months ago. What is the best OCing batch for the 2600K and 2500K these days? I bet there are many batches since I last read (sold all my SB awhile back).

Thinking of getting back.

I'm sure I have room to go up to 5300 MHz or more, but I tried up to 1.4 vCore and was not stable. I just don't want to go higher for the small gain in MHz. Many people cannot get this high, so I am very happy.
