edit: nevermind these things look like they work damn well in trifire also. the leap from 5 series to 6 series in scaling never ceases to amaze mehttp://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=263672

With Tri-Fire I would expect scaling to be around 175-190%.
From what source do you guys come up these exorbitant claims of crossfire scaling with the 6xxx series cards?
It's really shouldn't even be possible to get >100% scaling from adding a second card, for one thing ... basically if these cards are actually doing that, then it's almost 100% sure sign that AMD are cheating by reducing IQ in crossfire mode.http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/AMD_Radeon_6970_6950_-_Featured_Review_Page_10
Based on this review, it looks to me like the 6950/70 show fairly ordinary scaling performance (their average x-fire scaling appears to be around 75%) compared to other modern cards Edited by brettjv - 1/13/11 at 5:40pm
