Meh. That's reason. But guess what? People are getting lazy now adays have you heard?
People don't want to flip pages anymore... they want to scroll. Books and magazine sales have probably gone down.
People don't want to do the research anymore... they want it given to them. Google is their friend. They will just type a search and look for what they want.
I understand your point about typing up a paper. But in the work place we see people using tablets/smartphones most of the time. There's hardly ever a report needed anymore and when there is, they have a desktop at their desk to type it up after they have found all their info on their tabs while stuck in traffic for 2 hours. There's many variations of this but whatever. People have gotten lazy.
