Extremely disappointed 1055t, 215 max FSB

Settings are in the attachments.

I have tried setting the Ram around 11xx mhz (1333 Mushkin value), HT speeds at like 1800, NB around 1800, and the computer won't even boot past 215 FSB. I have tried setting CPU voltage to 1.4 from 1.28 (which it runs fine with, so far 1 hr prime 95 tested) and it wont even boot at 216 with 0.15 extra CPU voltage. My default voltage from the factory was 1.28. I really don't know what to do. I am not trying to be greedy, I was just looking for 3.4ghz.

The other thing is my temps are at 58-59* under Prime95 64 bit after about 5 minutes, and that is at 1.28V. I am using a Hyper 101A (which I had to put the paste on myself, I think I may have used a little too much, I used about 2-3 rice grain size).

Any tips please! I don't understand what is going on.

CPU 1055T
MB M4A77T/USB3
Ram Mushkin 1333 Value DDR3
Geforce 9600gt
2 120mm Case Fans
Hyper 101A CPU heatsink
Cooler Master 330 case

EDIT: Just wanted to add, I flashed the latest BIOS.

The problem is your generic/1333 CL9 RAM and the Hyper 101A CPU heatsink.
Both will hold back your overclock.

1.24v and 56c? What the hell did you do, put an entire tube of thermal paste on it?

setting 215 fsb raises memory clock. Mushkin value will not allow that.
Set mushkins to 800mhz then overclock cpu.

The more you raise FSB the more memory clocks raise. You will need to put them manually at lower speeds. Keep them at 800, after you'll get what you want from cpu try lowering timings.

I have tried everything you are saying, it won't Post past 215.

Memory is 700-800
HT Link 18xx
NB Link same
Voltages set to auto except CPU (tried all the way up to 1.4v)
FSB 220
won't post

Your screen shot shows your running bios v0502, you need v2008 for the 95w and 125w 1055's.

I ran into this problem as well. If you have an old BIOS version it won't recognize 6 core CPU's and, in my case, will clock it down to 1Ghz across all cores. A simple BIOS flashed fixed it right up

As a side note, you shouldn't need to mess with any voltages to get your 1055t to 3.6-3.7, your stock cooling will be fine for the overclock your looking to get.

You are a brave man overclocking a 6 core processor on that board.Hope you have a fire-extinguisher near by.

Why what is wrong with it?

I set memory at the LOWEST multiplier, and it boots now. I also gave it 1.65v just to be safe from the stock 1.5v

So far at 3.4 ghz on 6 cores, temp is a little high - I am going to reseat it I think.

Voltage after droop is around 1.26v, ran prime 95 for like 15 minutes and it was fine then headed to work.

PS. That BIOS wasn't an option for me on the ASUS site for my board....am I missing something? My version says it is as of Sept/2010 and it supports all new processors..don't forget the USB version has different BIOs's
