possible better oc? (955 BE) - Page 2

He might be able to get 7-8-7-20-1T but nothing else better.

Got my IMC @ 2750 and 7-8-7-20-1T @ 1666MHz. tRCD is a pain to get lower cause of the chips

Oh lmao. Well it's actually on the CPU itself if you haven't lapped it yet

did a little testing here and there and found 2 stable OCs but i'm unsure which is better

the first i had is what i was working on before so would it be better to have 3.9ghz with 2600 NB or 3.8ghz with 2800NB?

(i lowered the ref clock of my original clock from 220 to 215 then jumped up the voltage of the cpu-NB and set my NB multiplier to x13)

I would say try running some tests...gaming, 3dmark06, open and run some demanding programs, then decide which overclock works best for you. It is not a perfect science, some combos will work better for some and vice versa. I am personally running 3.8 on the cpu with 2730 on the cpu-nb and love it.
