No Harddrive Fan - Temporarily

Thread Starter
I have an antec 900 case.

I will have no fan directly blowing on the hard drive for about a week (bottom intake fan on the front panel). My computer will be on just about 24/7.

Do you guys think this will cause any overheating issues?

Thanks.

With two fans on the front, I doubt you will have a problem without one.

Absolutely not. Most average computers do not have a fan anywhere near the hard drive and it has no ill effects.

Most computers cases (especially from prebuilt systems) don't even have a front fan, and I have never seen hard drives die. A week won't be a problem. As long as hard drives are not fully enclosed, they should be fine.

Or you can move the top front fan down.
