going from the top of the line of one series to the current bottom of another??

at a minimum you want a 470, 580, 5870 or 6950 if you really think you need an upgrade. 6850 not worth it.

I wouldn't upgrade. At least 6870 or 6950. 6870 is a great card! Doubled my FPS on Just Cause 2 from 4890 950/1050MHz.
